Here is some research we have come across recently that is too good not to share, have a read and be inspired!

RYOJI IKEDA

RYOJI IKEDA

Artist spotlight | Ryoji ikeda’s 'TEST PATTERN' at 180 The Strand is an exhilarating piece of audio visual artwork. The artist converts all forms of data into monochrome, binary patterns that are projected real time as viewers walk through the exhibition space.

Publication | Romance Journal, is a conversation about women by women; featuring 10 creatives at a time, they speak on emotions and resistance from negative to positive. The print is beautifully curated with photographs by Robin Stein to emulate the honesty of the modern female.

Motherhood | The lack of responsibility undertaken by the US health system in relation to welfare means America has the highest rate of maternal mortality rate in an industrialised country. However, this is an issue that can be easily overcome with the revision of treatment before and after pregnancy. | Quartz

Accessories | Team Lasso has introduced a DIY backpack; customisation and assembly constructed by the wearer. The company introduced this after the success of their DIY slippers. The brand seek to engage the wearer in the making proccess as to deeper the understanding and appreciation of craft.

Photographer Spotlight | Based in London, Maisie Cousins shoots with a fearless and blunt acceptance of the sweet but definitely sickly reality of beauty whether that be in nature or human body. The indulgent and opulent images are a sensory trip.
