For centuries, clothing has been a wearable status symbol; fashion, a weapon in struggles for social change; and dress codes, a way to maintain political control. Have you ever thought about the message your clothes send and how your environment shapes what you wear?

Fashion Trends are getting a bad rep but they aren’t all bad. As the climate crisis unfolds and we outspend our planetary resource budget, seasonal and “on trend” fashion collections continue to be produced, regardless of the cost, perpetuating a fashion calendar and production cycle living on borrowed time.
